Tecboss BF20 FM Transmitter



I bought this to use in my pickup which has pretty standard features. So, when it comes to Bluetooth, of course, my truck doesn’t have it. I did not forget to buy a smartphone that has Bluetooth technology so it just made sense to pick this bad-boy up and give it a try. I plugged this into my cigarette lighter and it powered on right away. I set my phone to look for the new Bluetooth device and it detected it right away and, you guessed it, it connected right away too. I then found an FM frequency that was not noisy and then matched the frequency on the FM Transmitter. I then opened my music playlist on my phone and found my favorite AC/DC album and proceeded to jam away through my truck speakers. Before I purchased this I was limited to the phone speakers and when you are traveling, road noise tends to overpower the best of phone speakers. Now, my phone is as loud and my truck speakers will go.
I am working on developing a grading category for “Out of the Box Ease of Use,” and this item will score high in that category because I literally pulled it out of the box plugged it in and began using it. I suppose that I already knew how to connect Bluetooth devices to my phone so I should factor that in somehow, but I think most people possess that skill these days.
As mentioned, this connects via Bluetooth, however, it does come with a short auxiliary cable to connect to your aux port if you so wish. It also has two ports that allow you to connect a USB flash drive or a microSD card if you wish to use either to load music with. I don’t normally use these two media types to play music but, heck, maybe someday I’ll change it up. There is, also, two USB charging ports on the end of the stem that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I can see myself using those since I will need to keep my phone charged while playing music through it and I just removed my cigarette lighter charging adapter.

In my opinion, this is a very good item. If you are in the market for a device like this you will not be disappointed in making this purchase.

VR80 USB Flash Drive Audio Recorder by SpyGearGadgets

I recently received a new VR80 USB Flash Drive Audio Recorder by SpyGearGadgets . This nifty little device came packaged in a  5 x 4 x 1 inch blister pack container with a display card insert and a one page Quick Start Guide and let me tell you that it was at the blister pack where I started noticing the quality that has gone into this device. I am accustomed to using up 15 minutes or so opening a blister pack of whatever device that just came in the mail. So, when the box arrived I gathered my collection of cutting blades, bolt cutters, and cutting torches that I keep on hand when I need to open said blister pack but to my joy and surprise this one was not that difficult.
