1080P Full HD Motion Activated AC Adapter Hidden Spy Camera from SpyGearGadgets.


This adapter has a camera lens embedded into the charging unit that plugs into a wall outlet. The device looks and acts like a typical aftermarket charging unit for a cell phone, tablet, laptop etc. Even though it will actually charge your cell phone, tablet, etc. its main function, or should I say covert function, is to act as a hidden video camera. The camera records in full 1080P and the picture is really that good. I was surprised to see a unit this small actually take the high quality video that this has.

The 1080P Full HD AC Adapter Hidden Camera comes in a display box measuring 5 11/16 x 3 ¾ x 2 ½ inches. The actual adapter comes in at 2 ½ x 2 x 1 ¾ inches and has two prongs that plug directly into the wall. It has a removable USB to micro cable that is 19 Inches in length. Again, it can be removed to add your favorite USB configuration. The camera can be set to start recorder as it detects motion or it can be set to continuous mode.
Keep in mind that the design of this item assumes that you will plug this into a wall outlet that sits about a foot above floor level. The lens on the camera points at a slight angle upwards to try to capture head shots instead of the shins of the perpetrator that you are trying to catch. So, you may need to rethink your adapter/camera location if you have a one off electrical socket  that sits at a different level.
The media that is required to operate is a microSD card and the maximum capacity is 128GB. Yes, you will need to purchase separately. When I am done recording I take the microSD card out and place it in my microSD to SD converter and then take the SD converter and place it into my SD to USB adapter and access it on my computer as I would access any USB device. Sure, I am jumping through a couple of hoops to get to the videos but that is how I roll.

My opinion of this device is that it is another great item from the pros at SpyGearGadgets. It has a great practical application that is disguised as a harmless everyday device. It is of very good quality, good price, and a reasonably easy configuration.

I recently received a new VR80 USB Flash Drive Audio Recorder by SpyGearGadgets . This nifty little device came packaged in a  5 x 4 x 1 inch blister pack container with a display card insert and a one page Quick Start Guide and let me tell you that it was at the blister pack where I started noticing the quality that has gone into this device. I am accustomed to using up 15 minutes or so opening a blister pack of whatever device that just came in the mail. So, when the box arrived I gathered my collection of cutting blades, bolt cutters, and cutting torches that I keep on hand when I need to open said blister pack but to my joy and surprise this one was not that difficult.
